in the beginning
there was orange
and face paint
and a pink bear
and frisbees
unplug the TV
and footballs
and balloons
and paddleball
and children playing
on a secluded grassy knoll with just one voyeur
marginalized people
testing their wits
and balancing
their moves
and their dancing shoes
for a study in contrasts
and ink
gathering
into colors
of laughter
to take a pink bear
back to your lair
and show yourself
red ribbons
and yellow balls
like kites in the trees
all hooping
and bending
gyrating
booty shaking
ecstatic
and coy
and then resting
upside down
and whirling
dancing
