So I'm writing this book and the subjects of this book take me to lunch at this fancy restaurant. I glance over at the lunch buffet and I see this guy looking it over...

...he heads over to the soup section and starts to examine his choices. He looks at one...then the other. Then he takes the ladle from one of the soups, dips it into the soup, retrieves it, then proceeds to pick something out of the ladle and put it in his mouth. And it seems the soup was not to his liking, because he got a salad instead.
