OM Healing [Last updated: 4th July 2009]
OM Healing is an ancient ritual from India that harnesses the power of the OM chant for the purposes of healing on all levels of being (primarily for the benefit of those in the group but there is also an 'absent healing' aspect).
A specific technique that utilises this power was made public in 2007, the aim of which is to help the practitioner through the activation of his/her own self-healing capacities. It does not replace diagnosis or treatment by a doctor, alternative medical practitioner or therapist, nor does it offer any guarantee of beneficial results.
There are at present three groups holding regular OM Healing sessions in London (a Southampton group exists but is currently in abeyance); see details below, click on the venue link for a map. All the groups are open to anybody who seeks any sort of healing; they are also free of charge but donations towards room hire are welcome.
First Time Attendance: each group is run by a nominated organiser and you may wish to contact that person by email in advance to let them know that you are coming. All newcomers will receive a briefing on the mechanics of the technique. Please be punctual; once the healing session has started, it will not be possible to join the group so late-comers will be disappointed. Sessions normally last a little over one hour.
