OM Healing                                                      [Last updated: 22nd July 2008]

The OM Healing Technique is an ancient form of healing from India that harnesses the power of OM for the purposes of healing on all levels of being (primarily for the benefit of those in the group but there is also an 'absent healing' aspect). This specific ritual that utilises this power has recently been made public by Mahavatar Babaji through Swami Vishwananda and the Bhakti Marga Foundation.

Swami Vishwananda says: “Through the grace of Mahavatar Babaji, we have brought back the ancient OM Healing Technique. In today’s world, dependence is focused and placed upon using chemicals to heal the physical form. Chanting OM in the OM Healing circle is simple and can bring the healing ability back to the individual person....which has the power to heal the body, mind and spirit."

At this early stage, only a small number of organisers in the UK have received the necessary initiation and attunement to offer OM Healing sessions. There are at present groups holding regular sessions in London and Southampton (see details below, click on the venue link for a map). However it is hoped that other groups will also start shortly, details of which will be published here in due course. All the groups are open to anybody who seeks any sort of healing; they are also free of charge but donations towards room hire are welcome.

First Time Attendance: each group is run by a nominated organiser and you may wish to contact that person by email in advance to let them know that you are coming. All newcomers will receive a briefing on the practicalities of the Technique. Please be punctual; once the healing session has started, it will not be possible to join the group so late-comers will be disappointed. Sessions normally last a little over one hour.
