NOT TESTED ON LEOPARD The current release of ImageBurner has not been tested for compatibility with Leopard. I expect to have an update around the third week of November. About ImageBurner ImageBurner is a front-end for the MacOS X "hdiutil" command-line tool. It allows you to easily burn disk images (such as ISOs) to CD-ROM or DVD-ROM using drag-and-drop, without messing with the command line or having to purchase Toast. There's nothing you can do in ImageBurner that you can't do in Apple's Disk Utility, but ImageBurner provides a simpler interface. What's NewIn version 2.0
ImageBurner 2.0 was compiled and tested on MacOS X 10.4. It will not work on earlier versions of MacOS X, as it requires functionality only available in the 10.4 version of hdiutil. Image Format SupportCurrently, ImageBurner supports .dmg, .img, .iso, .cdr, .sparseimage and .toast files. Installation InstructionsTo install ImageBurner, download and mount the disk image. Drag the ImageBurner application to a suitable location on your hard drive (such as the Applications folder). Using ImageBurnerTo burn an image file to disc, just drag the image to the ImageBurner icon (or, if ImageBurner is already running, into the ImageBurner window). You'll be prompted to insert a blank disc, and after you do so the burn will start. Caution! If a writable disc is already in the optical drive when you give an image to ImageBurner, it will automatically be used. This is just the way the hdiutil tool works. Feedback You can mail me at adg at mac dot com with feedback, suggestions or bug reports about ImageBurner. Because I have a regular job, and write software in my spare time, please don't be offended if I don't reply. Downloads
