Sin War Concept Art: After thinking a little about what I'd like to see in the next Diablo release, I decided that a prequel based on the Sin War would be a great concept. In this drawing, I pictured one of the original Overlords--a demon created by the corruption of an angel's body and soul. On his back, you see the tattered, charred remains of his once glorious wings. In his hands are the original Butcher's Cleavers. From one of these mighty instruments of death, the famed Butcher's Pupil would be created by Man's greatest weapon smiths.

Behind this butcher is a powerful Lich, the first and greatest Undead King. Floating just above his decaying skull is the great Undead Crown, granting him mastery of the rotten dead of the earth. This mighty undead wizard's body steams with the frigid fog of death.
