The Immortal King and Queen: I did this drawing after trying to think of the history behind one of the more popular item sets from Diablo II--the Immortal King. I tried to imagine who the Immortal King was and came up with a little background story, then drew him out.

In my mind, the Immortal King had a beautiful sorceress queen who enchanted his armor to make him virtually indestructable, protecting him from demons and undead hordes plaguing the land during the Sin War.You can see her enchanted symbols hammered into his armor, covering virtually every part of his body.

You'll also notice a lot of 8's, which are actually modified infinity symbols, throughout the armor's decoration.
