First of all I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the first three shoots. I believe we had 12 Dogcows at each. For anyone who didn't make it rest assured we'll be doing this again.
Secondly, my best shots can be viewed at: http://www.seanet.com/~bjm/WoW

I like the Blackrock shots myself. Gnomes! What are you going to do? I thought the Cathedral of Light shots were just too dark. We'll have to see what Porter came up with. He said he took 30-40 shots per so chances are good that he has the winning shot.
Stay tuned for more info as this develops.
Get it?
Develops?
I kill myself.

Well OK. The response was nice to see. I'll set 3 times before I go to the Washington coast so hopefully everyone will be able to make at least 1.
• Next will be 12 noon PDT Saturday 9/25 outside Zul'Farrak. Fightgar needs to be in on this so he can summon anyone who's either too low level or has never been there before. We'll fight our way to the pyramid in a raid group and pose on the steps.
• Finally, we'll meet at the Gate of IF 8 hours later at 8 PM PDT 9/25 and make an attempt to reach the airfield. Once again, Fightgar should be along since he's the only one who has actually been there and to make getting everyone else there easier.
I hope these times will work for everyone. Nothing says you can't be in all 3 shots. That would be awesome. Get the buzz out on the street and tell everyone in the guild. There are a lot of players who don't check this site.
At this point I'll be taking the shots unless someone has a better idea. Have a good week people and I'll see you all Friday night.
Smile and say "Stormwind Brie"

Test Post: Blizzard's Blue Reply

Before, the server would check whether or not any stealthed players were nearby every 2-5 seconds. With this latest patch, the updates come much more quickly, and thus stealth can be more readily detected.
The team here will still be looking at stealth and making adjustments if they deem it necessary."
Thank You for the Pony!

This is just another example of why I enjoy being in a guild. Together we are stronger than we are alone. Helping guildmates out is fun and profitable. Sorry to Hejog for a brief run of luck.
I'm always willing to help others with quests I've already finished. If anyone needs a tank let ElWeirdo know.
Now I have a nice Palamino!
Seeya!
Initiates and Members and Veterans, oh my!

After discussing it in the forums, the guild has decided on a manner for people to rise up the guild ranks. It currently works as follows:
2. After they have been an "Initiate" for a full month, they are promoted to "Member" status.
3. After 3 months of being a "Member", that person is promoted to "Veteran".
4. There will be an additional rank called "Clarus's Helper" that is designed to encourage members to give back to the guild.
The "Clarus's Helper" ranking is reserved for those members that go above and beyond the call of duty. These are the people that:
• Actively participate in trade skills by giving raw materials to those that need them as well as crafting items for the rest of the guild.
• Choose to quest with guild members that need help, especially when they have already completed this quest before, and thus, no longer need it.
This new ranking should not be awarded to just anyone. It should be given out to those that shine above the rest. To become a helper of Clarus, the following must happen:
2. Any member or veteran is eligible for nomination.
3. The officers willl discuss the nomination and come to a consensus. If they agree, they will promote that person to the specified rank.
All guild rankings are given out by a per-person basis, not a per-character basis. If a veteran creates a new character, that character will immediately become a veteran, as well.
In order for this to work, you need to post all of your character names and the date you joined the guild. There is currently a thread where you can post this information in the Members-Only Forum. Please contact me if you still don't have access to this portion of the forums.
