- Dungeon Master Java, v2.0.1 for Mac OSX 10.3 or later
To install, just double-click the downloaded file and wait for StuffIt to extract and mount the image. You can copy the "Dungeon Master Java" folder
to your Applications directory, or just run from the disk image.
- For Windows and Linux use these versions:

On Windows and Linux, a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) must be present. Currently, only Sun's 1.4.2 release has been tested.
To install it, go to java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html and choose the
J2SE v 1.4.2_xx JRE download link.
* For the Windows installer to function properly, the JRE MUST BE INSTALLED FIRST! (Otherwise, the shortcuts put in the Start Menu will not function.)
* Later versions of Java may actually work, but currently the installer will complain of failure. In this event, the game has actually been put on your computer, but you'll need to create shortcuts in your start menu or on the desktop manually. (See the install.txt file in the Dungeon Master Java directory for help, or look on the forum. I've noticed you may need to drop the quotes around the -cp . portion of the shortcut!) One of these days I'll make a better installer...
