ArcLight Digital is an army of one. I'll tell you about me first.
I’ve worked in the film industry doing this and that for the last 14 years. If you count my grade school and college film career, you’re looking at 22 or more years.
I got my formal education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro
where I double majored in Broadcast/Cinema and English.
Shortly after graduating, I got my first job as a Production Assistant on
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. After that, I moved into the Camera
Department as a Film Loader on “Betsy’s Wedding” directed
by Alan Alda. Camera took me from Wilmington to Los Angeles and back again
as a camera assistant. By 1999, I started to see the writing on the wall as
to where my career was headed. I took a leap of faith and went into editing
as a sideline. That eventually evolved into the full service production company
you see before you. Four years and counting now, I have produced numerous
award winning local and regional television commercials, corporate promotional
videos, and documentaries.
