1. After installation of QuickTime Streaming Server, the default location for your movies and sdp flies to be streamed from is Library > QuickTimeStreaming > Movies
2. For my example I have made a folder inside Movies called 3gpp with 2 sub folders. The first folder is for live streaming with sdp files inside, the other folder with hinted 3gp movies.

3. Now we are going to test our movie from QTSS or DSS, by testing it with QuickTime Player.
eg: rtsp:// Your Server name or IP address / folder name / file name
So for streaming a 3gpp file it would look like this eg.
rtsp://192.168.1.4/3gpp/movies/Dome.3gp
For Live streaming your file would end .sdp eg.
rtsp://192.168.1.4/3gpp/live/my-live-cast.sdp

Next would be to have a look at Stage 3.
