How to with iTunes:

Aim:
Here we will take our selected track from iTunes and open it up in QuickTime Pro, ready to be then converted into a 3gpp file in the QuickTime Pro tutorial.

What will you need:
Hardware: G3 - G4 - G5 Mac.
Software: iTunes - for more info click here & QuickTime Pro - for more info click here.

1. First of all open up iTunes. Applications > iTunes.
- Tip: a short cut to Applications folder when in the finder is to press "Shift + Apple key + A"

2. Once you have iTunes open, pick an track that from any Song list or the Library with in iTunes.

3. Next we will drag the chosen track to the desktop of our Mac. Then from there drag it onto the QuickTime icon in the Dock to open it up in QuickTime Pro, or open up QuickTime Pro by Applications > QuickTime Player Then you could just go to File > Open.

4. Now we have it open in QuickTime Pro, you can now go to the QuickTime Pro tutorial in Stage 1.

Note: In the QuickTime Pro tutorial, ignore part 4. the video setting as they will be greyed out by default. This is because QuickTime Pro will recognise the file as being audio.
